2018 Land Rover Range Rover SVR. The Range Rover Sport SVR has been perfected in Europe, with changes in light designs, and the main performance is expected to be upgraded.
This revised SVR this week was covered with the required spiral camouflage, blocking the finer details of this next update. Despite the masquerade, however, it is clear that the front bumper of this model is slightly different from the current car, indicating the front and possibly rear-end treatments.
The major change in the Range Rover Sport is expected to be 2018 Land Rover Range Rover SVR under the hood, with online reports speculating that larger air intakes are reflected on the picture model and feed the air to a stronger version of the super 5.0-liter V8.
The improved engine is expected to be shared with the new Jaguar F-Type SUV, which produces 423 kW and 700 Nm for the Jaguar eight-speed shift transmission, which will improve the Range Rover time of 0-100 km / h . The new engine generates 17 kW and 20 Nm on the current SVR, which already claims an impressive 4.7 second race from 0-100 km / h.
With the new drive system, the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover SVR probably comes much closer to the 4.0 seconds range. This would put the Range Rover Sport closer to its immediate competitors. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S claims just 4.1 seconds to triple figures, while the BMW X5 M is much more affordable, Only 4.2 seconds.
Other additions to the faceted sport are likely to bring in interior modifications, including the updated entertainment and information system – the new 2-inch touchscreen we have seen in the newly launched Evoc convertible, along with the Jaguar G and Chid sedan.
There is no doubt that 2018 Land Rover Range Rover SVR face lifted also feature a range of light updates elsewhere. In spy shots you can see a re-styled front bumper with various air intakes. Other changes may include the addition of Glare’s latest media system, as well as some new interior decorations.
It is premature any official word on pricing but – given that the current model costs £95,900 – it is reasonable to assume that the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover SVR will return you at least £96k.
Recent spy shots have already revealed that Land Rover is working on a slightly updated version of the Range Rover, so it makes sense that updates are down the line for a high-performance version.
